The inscriptions along the rim: title of state in Bulgarian, in the center - Madara horseman.

The Madara Horseman is an early medieval large rock relief carved on the Madara Plateau east of Shumen in northeastern Bulgaria, near the village of Madara.

The twelve five-pointed stars - the symbol of the European Union on the upper arch, the figure of the denomination, the year of minting, legend "stotinkes" is inscribed underneath.
