Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Alexandra Mary, born 21 April 1926) became Queen of
the United Kingdom on 6 February 1952.

The inscriptions along the rim: word denomination. In the center, Britannia sitting on lion facing right (designed by Christopher Ironside).

The was introduced in 1969 to replace the ten shilling note as part of the run
