The inti was the currency of Peru between 1985 and 1991.

In the center: bust of Admiral Grau.

Miguel María Grau Seminari (27 Jul. 1834 - 8 Oct. 1879) was a renowned Peruvian naval officer and hero of the Naval Battle of Angamos during the War of the Pacific (1879-1884).
