Wilhelm I (full name: German: Wilhelm Friedrich Ludwig, 22 Mar. 1797 – 9 Mar. 1888), was the King of Prussia (2 Jan. 1861 – 9 Mar. 1888) and the first German Emperor (18 Jan. 1871 – 9 Mar. 1888).
